# Version and install check

> GET /v1/version and GET /v1/check_install. The engine version and an item-by-item report of the installation's guarantees.

## `GET /v1/version`

```json theme={null}
{"version": "0.3.1"}
```

The version follows the SQL signatures of the read and write functions. A change that alters what a call returns bumps it.

## `GET /v1/check_install`

Runs the installation checks and returns each one.
